Kitchen
The room I stayed in had no window, just a hole above the door so any noise they made could be heard, it was two sleepless nights. People using the kitchen, passing through the hostel rooms, the neighbor's dog barking. Another thing, when booking, I booked a room just for women so I would feel more comfortable. However, the bathroom and showers are unisex, and nowhere notices this. The bathrooms are filthy in the morning, staff only arrive to clean at 1pm.
